Pirmasens, Rhineland Palatinate Germany Disk Shaped UFO

I came across your site looking for anything on Pirmasens Germany. My dad was stationed there from 1977 – 1981 with the US Army. He was an MP at that time. I do remember that day of the round disk at the elementary school across the street from building I was living in. I lived right across the street from the elementary school. I was in the back field at the school that afternoon collecting Bee’s in a jar. I did see the disk moving and I watched it briefly and I ran home to tell my mom because it startled me. I was looking down and a shadow caught my attention and looked up towards it facing the opposite side of the school fence. I remember an apple orchard that I use to sneak in and steal apples.

To make a long story short, I saw it. I was 9 at the time. Why I remember this day is because I told my dad about it and I got my butt spanked because my dad thought I was not telling the truth. Several days later my Dad apologized to me because the sighting was spotted by apparently several other people that day. My dad’s name is [removed]. I still have his military year book with 59th or 95th MP Company.

I was nine at the time. I am an engineer today and live in Gresham, OR. I know what I saw and the description that the others described of the disk is what I remember. You have to take my age at that time into consideration. When this thing was moving I felt a tingling sensation across my scalp and chest. Not as much as heat but a sensation I can not really describe. Why I say this is because I had a tumor on my sternum 5 years later that I had to have removed. Connection to the sighting and encounter, I can not with any certainty say, but the tumor was benign but an unexplained growth that was pressing on my heart. So, I have no sternum now.

I would be interested in sharing my information with the others that spoke with you guys and it would be nice to talk with them about it.

Hope, British Columbia A Huge Red Glow Passing Through The Clouds

Time: Evening.

Hi! My name is (removed). I think I have seen UFO's twice in my life time. The first one was in Hope BC in 1990. I was sitting on top of my Dads car watching the clouds pass over the mountain. It was pretty late at night and the clouds were oddly bright, anyway as I was looking up I got an uncomfortable feeling, the distinct feeling that I needed to get inside now, kind of thing. At the very moment the feeling came over me there was a huge red glow passing through the clouds. I thought it was going to hit the mountain but it went over. I thought it was a plane on fire and crashing. For the next few weeks and months i read all the news papers and asked my aunt in Chilliwack if she had heard of a plane or something crashing near Hope. There was nothing ever reported.

Jonesville, Florida Football Sized UFO And Unusual Dreams

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was leaving for work at around 9:00pm at night, my husband was still at work. We lived at the time on some very beautiful, untouched by mankind land. Surrounded by 100's of acres-more of the same. As I was driving down the dirt/grass path we call a road, chills shot up my spine. I knew I was being watched, and yet I knew it was not something to fear. I looked around, but with no street lights (only headlights), I saw nothing. I put my vehicle into park, opened the door, got out and looked up.

Oh, My God. This thing was huge. The size of a football field. It had some red lights on the bottom that were not blinking and very dull in color. It was so close I felt I could touch it. It never made a sound. I just stared in awe of the sight of this magnificent thing above me, and was in total peace. It started to move in a SW direction, and in the time it takes to blink your eye one time, it was gone. It looked like a falling star, only it didn't seem to go up or down--just left a trail of light.

Needless, to say, no one believed me. The impact this object had on me was overwhelming. It was like losing a family member when it left. I never forgot anything, especially the feeling of loss, when it left.

However, 2yrs later I awoke from what I thought was a dream. I was standing outside right next to our power pole and watching the same ship leave. But, this time in a SE direction. I could smell the cool morning air and feel the wet morning dew on my feet, and watched with sadness as it left.

The next thing I remember is sitting up in my bed believing it was a dream. It was so vivid and real. What was also vivid and real was the wet grass and dirt still on my feet and now on our bed sheets.

I have always wondered did they pick my up and drop me off? And why do I feel at peace when I think about them?

There was a second dream I had that involved a silver disc shaped object that shot out of the ground in the woods next to our property. I had dreamt of impending development across a the street through the property and it had to leave. I moved from there in 98 and since then there has been an explosion of land development.

I don't talk to much about it. For all of us that have seen, felt, dream and remember these things, well we are oddities. I have learned to keep it locked up, still wondering!

Chilliwack, British Columbia Object With A Bluish Purple Flame

Date: October 1993/1994
Time: Dusk.

The second time I was living in Chilliwack BC. I believe it was October 93 or 94. A bunch of friends were at our place. The front balcony faced south west and the view of the mountains at dusk are awesome to see because the setting sun makes them look pink. My best friend and I were standing outside having a smoke when we both saw something streaking through the sky. Whatever it was, was a good distance away and was travelling horizontally. It looked like a bluish purple flame coming off a comet. We watched it for a couple minutes and then it just disappeared. It occurred to my friend that it could have been a missile of some sort. My mom said that it was the sun setting, but the sun had already set.

Perth, Western Australia Two Bright Pink Flashes (UFOs)

Weather Conditions: Cool night but otherwise, clear skies.

Description: I was an international student studying in Western Australia (The University of Western Australia) around this time period. I was staying at the then Kingswood College, next to UWA.

That Saturday evening, I went for a car-drive with a friend who lived in the same college. We went to King's Park for a while, enjoying the night air. Then, we drove back to Kingswood College.

On our way back to the college, we used the dark back lane as a route, passing houses. It was then we saw two bright pink-ish flashes right next to Winthrop Hall's tower. I remember exclaiming: "Look, flashes!"

Then, the "flashes" did something we did not expect them too. They started to move towards us and by this time, we were out of the car, in the middle of the dark street, staring at the two orbs heading our direction.

They moved silently, without any noise or sound. I thought they were small airplanes and tried to look for the undercarriage but none - they were just pure orange-pink glowing orbs. Moving silently, eerily.

We decided to follow them. They moved in tandem, one in front, one at the back. They ascended further up into the sky. We got to an intersection and watched them disappear. By this time, I was feeling a little freaked out.

When we got back to our residential college, we debated whether the objects were man-made or alien. I mean, they could have been made by inebriated engineering students who were known to rig up gas-balloons. But no, these orbs were just pure light, moving as if they were under control.

I just want to know if there were similar reports about such orbs/objects around this time period.

Isle of Wight Blackgang Chine, Chale Strange Object

Weather Conditions: Dry, clear light winds.

Description: It was about 10 pm and I was looking up into the sky when I noticed a shooting star travelling from east to west. To see a shooting star is not unusual as this often happens when I go fishing in the evening, but this time it was different as the main body and tail were a bright green in colour. After about ten minutes a bright pulsing white light appeared from nowhere about two miles south of my position out at sea. The light was stationary above the sea at about 300 ft and making no sound and pulsing every second. After about five minutes, the light started to wobble like a spinning plate and this continued for about ten minutes after which the light in intensified and then disappeared in an instant. Weather conditions were clear with little cloud and light winds there were no other aircraft or shipping in the area at the time. All the time I had light in my view I could not see any discernable shape, at first I thought the light may be a reflection from the St Catherine's light house but the frequency of both lights were totally different.

Grafton, New South Wales A White Cloud Like Object

Hello, I am emailing to ask a question. I'm not sure what to say about this particular event as I do not know what it was or if it should be noted at all. How do I know if I have actually seen a UFO?

This is my experience

The year was 2001 and I was in my last year of primary school (year 6). I was at lunch on a perfect sunny day with not one cloud in the sky when I noticed something in the sky, At first it looked like a normal Airplane Exhaust or Chemtrail but as I continued to watch on it realized that there was nothing at the top of the chemtrail like an object such as an airplane people usually see. The white cloud like object was on an angle and about an inch and a half in the sky and looked as though it was very far away. As I continued to watch on I noticed this "thing" was getting longer, in the space of about 10 seconds it started to turn to become a flat line in the sky and grew to about 6 inches in the sky. It looked like it was getting closer and as it got bigger it look like it was getting a transparent dome underneath but was still the same colour as the sky. 5 seconds later it shrunk very fast and disappeared. I was unable to explain it and neither was one of my friends who also witnessed it.

Goderich, Ontario UFOs Move In Different Directions

Number of objects: At first 1, soon (5-10 minutes) 6 total.
Shape of objects: Appeared to be stars, but moving erratically.
Weather Conditions: Mid August, warm clear sky on the beach.

Description: Objects appeared to be moving in several directions within a confined area at various speeds, sometime in a circle, and then very quickly move across sky, then suddenly stop or change direction. Watched for about 1/2 hour after sun went down.

TV/Radio: No details given to media to my knowledge.

Olds Alberta Canada Lights Make Rotation Movements

Description: Outside of a local pub having a cigarette when the girl that was there commented on how bright a certain group of stars where. At which point it moved from the north to directly in front of us, hard to tell the elevation and it moved faster than anything from this rock, it hovered for about 15 seconds the lights did a rotation then it went west and was gone off of the horizon in mere seconds. One of the coolest things I have ever seen.

Mid Wilshire District of Los Angeles, California V Shaped UFO

Date: November 14, 2008
Time: 6:48 P.M. P.S.T.

Shape of objects: V-shaped, like 50's flying wing bomber.
Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: I looked up at sky and saw v-shape of lights flying across the sky at a slow rate of speed. Object had speed of satellite or jet at cruising speed at 40,000 ft. altitude. Object was 3-4" across if you held fingers that far apart at arms' length. Object was flying from North to South. Only lights could be seen, dim starlight intensity, about a dozen total, six on each wing, and there was one red light on the end of the wing farthest away, and two red lights on the end of the wing closest to me. The red lights were blinking. The object was nothing that would stand out by any means. You had to be looking in the direction it was located to see it, by chance, as I did while looking up at the sky to star gaze. It looked like a v-shape of starlight going across the sky. I was walking my dog at the time of sighting, there was no one else around. Sighting lasted no more than 5 minutes. It made no noise from the object, although there was airplane noise that I heard as there were at least 5 airplanes in the sky.

TV/Radio: I called KTLA Channel 5 at about 9 p.m. that night and talked to a woman, who was polite and listened to me. I told her I was calling in the hope that others who saw it would call as well. It was not reported in the news that night.

But this was not a balloon it was just out of the ordinary and was hovering and a slow pace and too large for a balloon and making a feint noise but then something shot out the top of it and the another object came along which was exactly the same thing shape and size. I am only 12 but my whole family evidently saw this object and have visual proof because we seen it through the binoculars .! Many thanks.

If anyone has seen this locally please let me know.

Woodland Hills California Two Round Black Ball Shaped Objects

Description: I saw 2 round balls high in the sky traveling side by side in unison. They were traveling south when they both stopped and were motionless in the sky. The round black ball was slightly ahead of the round silver ball. They stayed in the same position for a long time. Around December I saw the same silver ball in the sky in one fixed position by itself. It was also a semi hazy day. I was transfixed with both sightings. The silver ball zoomed across the sky in a straight line and was gone! I have never seen anything move like that before.

Clifton Moor, York, Yorkshire, England A Orange Ball Like Object

Description: Came out of the clouds on a heading of east to west a red glow turning to orange,at 1st we thought it was a aircraft but no sound apart from the distant sound of a very low pitch but high speed drone noise...think of a Chinook heli but without the clatter. Just the blades rotating.

Anyway headed west for what I would say was 5 miles then turned north and climbed into the clouds. As it did the sound was still there but then died off.

Where we live we are on a military flight path but not at that time of night or sound. I've have been a plane spotter for since I was 7, now 32 and never seen what we saw last night.

Stratford, Ontario Canada Various Sightings Of Round Glowing Orbs

Time: 12:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

Weather Conditions: Clear.

Description: At approximately 12:30 p.m. I was sitting in my car on my lunch break when I noticed in the sky to the north, two aircraft. They were flying a distance apart, but heading in the same southwesterly direction. I believed these to be ordinary passenger planes. I watched them fly overhead, then suddenly an orange light appeared out of nowhere. The sky was clear and this object was quite visible. It was flying lower than the planes and moving west. Suddenly it circled north and after watching it for about 30 seconds or so, it just vanished.

Then at approximately 2:15 p.m. I was again outside on break when I noticed another plane flying in a southwesterly direction. I was looking north from my car window, and when the plane moved out of my field of vision (passing over top of my vehicle) there suddenly appeared four glowing orbs. They were also orange in colour and were moving around in one area of the sky in an erratic fashion. Up, down, left, right--two of them looked at one point like they were going to hit each other. It looked as though whatever this was putting on an aerial show. I watched this for approximately 2 - 3 minutes. One by one, they disappeared from sight--just faded and vanished. They didn't fly away, they just weren't visible any longer.

I'm hoping someone else has seen the same thing, or perhaps the pilots of those planes have reported something.

After watching the video, I really don't believe that this is what I saw.

There were four objects that appeared to have an orangish glow, but these did not simply drift about. The movements of these objects was simply astounding.

They moved about in a rapid manner in all direction, yet stayed relatively close together. At one point, these objects formed a perfect square.

Imagine, if you will, four spots in the sky taking the shape of a square. The two objects in the bottom corners of this square rose upwards at an angle towards the top centre of the square, rising between the upper two objects but higher. They came extremely close to hitting one another, then sharply dropped back down, angling away from each other. The movement kind of looked like a "toast" of wine glasses.

After this spectacular show, all four objects once again began to "dance" around in the sky, moving in all direction.

These objects had very bright (strong) white lights on bottoms of them. They were clearly visible, even though this was a clear and sunny day.

I wish I would have had my camera with me! I carry it with me now all the time, and if I ever get the chance again, I'll be ready :)

Plymouth, Devon, United Kingdom An Amber/Red Colored Spherical Object

Shape of objects: Spherical.
Weather Conditions: Exceptionally clear night.

Description: The object was an amber/red colour and appeared to be at high altitude. To my eye it was a similar size to that of a large star was from my vantage point. The object was extremely fast moving across the sky which meant I had to run to the edge of the building I was standing beside to keep it in view. The object had no tail so I ruled out it being a shooting star. It was that fast moving I think I can rule out it being a satellite and it disappeared into the distance rather than faded away. The object was far too fast to be any type of aircraft and there was absolutely no sound as it passed over. It had a stable straight line trajectory which I described to my friend as 'arrowing across the sky'. I was located in central Plymouth with very little glare from street lighting in the area I was in. It was an extremely clear and frosty night and I believe I tracked the object for at least 5 - 10 seconds before it was out of sight. I have witnessed meteor showers and satellites on many occasions but have never seen anything that moved as quickly as this object did.

Beverley Western Australia Bright Object With Flames

Date: March 5 and 6, 2009

Shape of objects: Very large object with the most bright flames with many colours in all angels around the object like a Bunsen burner with changes in the size of the flames as well as the colours around it. It sat in the air with no noise coming from it. Then moved so fast to stop still and repeat.
Weather Conditions: Clear summer night.

Description: This was not a plane it was not on a flight path at all. Just as the sun had gone down on the 5th of the 3rd 09 my friend his mum and dad and I sat at there back yard talking, the moon was just so bright and seemed low, we live in the wheat-belt in W.A

Then this awesome bright light in the sky was changing its flames like I said before a Bunsen burner in may colours like gas on a oxy welder but to us was 20 to 30 foot long at the same time moving all over the place with super speed then to stop instantly. The flames changed to many colours all around the object. Orange to red to green and even a pink? As we were spinning out it just moved so fast then with a blink of a eye it seemed to head towards the moon that fast nothing on this planet could go that speed with on noise. I have 4 witnesses and on the 6th it was back, as the sun went down around the same time no flames just cruising low and slow. 2 witnesses to this sighting [names removed]. Then as before it just sped up as to go towards the moon.

Zimmerman, Minnesota Six Orange Colored Objects

Description: We were standing on a porch having a cigarette and looked up at the sky, We spotted two lighted orange objects in the sky traveling northwest to southeast moving faster than an airplane but slower than a meteor. Traveling next to each other, then two more behind them. As the first two slowed down, there was yet another pair-totaling 6. The first two stopped and slowly faded, then the other two stopped in the same location and faded out. As did the last two.

Middelburg Mpumalanga South Africa 21 Round Red/Orange Colored Lights

Description: While at a family event one of the guests spotted strange red star like lights moving from the west toward the southern cross. She called everyone and all of the guests saw the strange objects. They came in bunches from the west and moved at a steady pace then slowed down and one by one disappeared as they got further. Some of the objects were captured on video in night mode. A total of 21 lights were spotted over about half an hours interval. Some claiming it was flairs tied to balloons but these objects were very high and far away.

Nova Scotia, Halifax Triangle Shaped UFO With Red Lights

Description: These sightings where spaced apart as air planes would be in their flight pattern but they where flying a fair bit lower and where completely quite each where around 5 mins apart for a short while two of them seemed to stay in one place out over the lake about a few hundred feet up, this was not far from an air port and loud jets are normal but as I said these where silent and did not quite fit the profile of the usual planes that fly over, if any of the usual planes would try to fly this slow they would more than likely stall it was almost a lazy Sunday drive type speed.

Mississauga, Ontario A Round Cylindrical UFO

Time: 11:55 a.m.

Shape of objects: Round, cylindrical.
Weather Conditions: Clear blue sky very high cloud level.

Description: Observed two objects flying in a circular pattern getting brighter as they turned away from my vantage point. Appeared to be high above Pearson International Airport.

As first I thought they seagulls, but the flight pattern was too tight. The objects appeared to get close to each other, then further away.

At one point, one of the objects seemed to be elliptical. My location is about 25Km south of Pearson, the size of objects was that of about 1.5mm in diameter. The light emitted was very bright. The objects were observed for about a minute from the time they were first seen.
